Walk in + Tie One On - Tie a new warp to an already threaded one.

This is a refresher class for learning very simple knots to tie one warp onto another, saving the time and energy of re-threading a loom. We do this in our studio very often and have it down to a precise method that is very fast and easy. 

Walk In + Tie One On — don't let the name fool you! We're not talking about that kind of night. 😄

Here's the secret: when weaving is finished on a loom, a freshly wound warp can be tied directly onto an existing threaded warp, letting you pick right up where someone else left off and continue weaving the same design. It's a clever little trick that keeps the creative momentum going!

In this class, you'll learn exactly how to do that — tying a new warp onto one that's already threaded and ready on the loom. And here's the really fun part: the warps waiting for you have been wound by fellow students in our Walk In + Wind a Warp class, so everything flows together beautifully. (Not familiar with winding a warp yet? You might want to check that class out first!)

Here's what you'll learn:

• How to carry a braided warp and get it prepped and ready for the loom
• How to hold a cross in your hands to keep your threads tidy, ordered, and ready to go
• How to tie knots that stay put and look consistent — because details matter!
• If time allows and your warp is fully tied on, how to wind it onto the loom with even, beautiful tension

This class runs about 30 minutes, and you'll tie on as many knots as time allows and/or you want!
