Spinning is a deeply personal craft — every spinner has their favorite tools and their own way of working. As we begin this part of our journey, we're proud to carry Majacraft wheels, made in New Zealand and a brand we know and trust. We do plan to expand our wheel selection in the future, so stay tuned!


All Majacraft wheels are available on-site for you to try. We teach on these wheels and love them for good reason: they're thoughtfully engineered to spin smoothly and quietly, making them a joy to work with at any skill level.

Learn how to use one of our wheels.

If you're curious about spinning and want to give it a try, we recommend starting with our Learn How to Spin on a Spinning Wheel class. You'll sit down at a wheel, explore the basics of fiber drafting, discover the many sheep breeds well-suited for spinning, and leave with your very own hand-spun yarn. It's a wonderful way to find out if spinning is the craft for you. Like our weaving classes, there's no single path here. We offer structured classes as well as open studio time where students are welcome to come, sit alongside others, and simply spin. Spinning is a journey — and wherever you are in yours, we're happy to meet you there.
