It is a mix of breeds. Falkland wool is Corridale, Polwarth and Dohne Merino. These breeds were specifically developed and bred for the ability to survive in the harsh climate of the Falkland Islands. Because of this climate bugs and disease are not an issue, making the wool basically organic.
