Locally Processed Spinning Fiber

This spinning fiber is from mostly local sheep and processed at One Another Fiber Mill, a local Pennsylvania fiber mill. These sheep are all friends of our local shearer, Marisa. 

This carded fiber is an experience any seasoned spinner needs to try. The fiber comes out fluffy and oh so soft!

Each bag contains 2 oz of super soft fluffiness! Come in and feel the velvety softness!

Marisa Smith, our local shearer + friend, got her start in fiber arts learning how to knit from her grandmother. She dropped it as a hobby until her daughter arrived, at which point the fiber rabbit hole opened up under her feet and dragged her down. Within a few years she picked up spinning, weaving, shearing, wool processing, and everything in-between (except owning her own sheep). She now works with groups across PA to educate and promote wool, even imperfect fiber, as a valuable resource in the community.
